Because of its mixed parentage of Cinsaut and Pinot Noir, we like to think that the vine's Rhone ancestry helps it thrive in the heat, while its Burgundian roots suit it well to our rocky soils and cool nights. This luscious wine is full-bodied with chocolate, earthy flavours coming through amid rich fruit.

Wine Profile
Tasting Notes

The 20112 vintage delivers intense, exotic fruit flavours with notes of mocha, black cherry and vanilla on a bold, rounded palate.

Production Notes

Grown in our warmest vineyard blocks, this wine was fermented in small lots before 15 months' aging in French & American oak barrels.

This is a tasty red that hugs your tongue and leaves a pleasant warm aftertaste. A great red for either a hot day or a chilly night - very versatile.
