Because of its mixed parentage of Cinsaut and Pinot Noir, we like to think that the vine's Rhone ancestry helps it thrive in the heat, while its Burgundian roots suit it well to our rocky soils and cool nights. This luscious wine is full-bodied with chocolate, earthy flavours coming through amid rich fruit.
The 20112 vintage delivers intense, exotic fruit flavours with notes of mocha, black cherry and vanilla on a bold, rounded palate.
Grown in our warmest vineyard blocks, this wine was fermented in small lots before 15 months' aging in French & American oak barrels.
