Our Commitment to Environmental Sustainability

Stoneboat Vineyards, while a small business, takes seriously its responsibility to the environment. We have taken some small but significant steps to reduce our environmental footprint:

-Drip irrigation systems implemented to reduce water consumption and loss due to evaporation

-Propane fueled wind towers burn cleaner and emit fewer harmful gases

-Vineyard ‘sterility’ is avoided, leaving scrub brush and wildlife corridors for local bird species

-Cohabitation of natural antelope brush and vinifera

-Wine shop construction materials sourced locally whenever possible

-Environmentally friendly cleaning products used in wine shop

You can do your part as well. Recycle your wine bottles when you are done with them and save the corks for gardening.
