Pinotage Solo represents the finest of the outstanding 2007 vintage. Five barrels were reserved from our 2007 Pinotage lots, selected for their exceptional structure and complexity. Aged 20 months in 80% new French & American oak, this wine showcases the elegance and bold, distinctive characters of the Pinotage varietal.
Eucalyptus, coffee and plum aromas greet the nose, leading to an intensely rich, mouth filling palate dominated by sweet, ripe fruit and chocolate notes. Intriguing tannins provide structure and cellarability. Robust and elegant, this wine is the result of an outstandvintage and may not be made again for some time. Age 6 months – 1 year before drinking.
