Pinotage 2008

Because of its mixed parentage of Cinsaut and Pinot Noir, we like to think that the vine's Rhone ancestry helps it thrive in the heat, while its Burgundian roots suit it well to our rocky soils and cool nights.

We have only begun to see the potential of this fantastic varietal in the Okanagan. Vibrant red berry characters contrast with earthy undertones of very rich, dark fruit. The grape’s characteristic supple, intriguing tannins lend weight and structure to a round, full mouthfeel.
