From our oldest vines, a delicate, fresh wine with signature honey and pear aromas of botrytis-affected fruit
Pinot Blanc grows on the lower slopes of the Home Vineyard, where fog from the Okanagan river drifts on fall mornings. The added moisture from these mists encourages botrytis growth (noble rot), which lends unique character and concentration to the fruit.
In 2009, low yields and a higher percentage of botrytis affected fruit have resulted in an especially concentrated wine, with intense honey, pear and field clover aromas. Elegant, finessed and rich, this Blanc demands to be noticed. A special vintage.
