20% of this wine was fermented in neutral barrels to provide a slight creaminess on the palate without contributing oak flavours. The remainder was fermented slowly at cool temperatures to preserve lush aromatics. The 2011 Pinot Gris is brimming with stonefruit, grapefruit and honeysuckle aromas. Apricot, pear and citrus burst on the palate, underscored by unabashedly crisp acidity and firm minerality. Our finest yet.
