Bringing together all of the delicious fruit of an Okanagan summer, this highly aromatic blend is loaded with mango, tangerine, and green apple flavours. Medium-bodied with balanced acidity, white peach fuzz textures, and layered with a mineral tone which leaves a refreshingly long, pleasant finish.
This highly aromatic wine is sourced from grapes from our oldest vineyard, originally planted in 1984. Early ripening Schönburger was crushed and de-stemmed then transferred with skins to tank for 48 hours before pressing. Pinot Blanc and Müller Thurgau harvests followed shortly afterwards, with Kerner being our last grapes to come into the winery for this blend. Each variety was picked and fermented separately with a long cold fermentation at 15 C, lasting roughly 4 weeks. The Gravelbar Chorus blend changes from year to year, all depending on the vintage. This year Pinot Blanc is the chief component.
