This crowd-pleaser is a blend of Pinot Noir and Pinotage. Almost opaque in colour, this medium bodied yet dark wine has hints of violets, dried dark fruits, leather and cigar box. The soft, silky, creamy tannins stream along with cherry jam and spice onto a medium long finish.
After fermentation, the wines are pressed to barrel where they spend 15 months resting in a combination of French and American Oak (mostly neutral). We then taste each barrel and make our blends early in the new year, with a light filtering just before a May bottling.
