Dark crimson in colour, this robust Pinot Noir has notes of dark cherries, raspberry, baking spice and earthiness. The attack is dark plum and licorice, with smooth delicate tannins and ample acidity to round out the jammy finish.

Winemaker Notes
This notoriously difficult grape is well suited to our vineyards’ calcareous soils and dramatic night/day temperature shifts of up to 30º C. Sensitive in the vineyard and temperamental in the cellar, our Pinot Noir creates beautiful wines when handled minimally and gently.
Other Notes
2014 - Warm but balanced, this vintage had a long and even growing season. It was rated as one of the warmest, but rather than heat spikes, the temperatures were steady and cool at just the right times. Harvested October 6-9, 2014.
