You can expect a mineral driven, ripe pear with a spicy, medium body for this wine. Fresh acidity bursting on the palate which derives from our cooler nights in the vineyard for this particular varietal. There has been subtle lees contact over a few months of this wine; which creates a creamy note on the palate on the finish. It’s only going to get better with time.

Winemaker Notes
Considering the amount of winter damage that this vineyard experienced; I was very excited to obtain fruit that came off the vines clean, ripe and full of flavor. We picked the Pinot Gris earlier, to retain freshness and of course, I am loving the new label.
Food Pairing Notes
As we are getting ready for Spring but there are still some rainy and chilly days, I would say right now I would be pairing this wine with an oven baked pork tenderloin, with a side of roasted potatoes, apple and grilled asparagus.
